The InGather Recruiting Process
Occasionally we receive some questions regarding the process of qualifying for a study, so we have done our best to break down the entire process below. Please take a few minutes to look it over, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or email us!
Sign Up – The first step is to sign up to join our database. Once you click the “Join Now!” link , you will be taken to our New Respondent Form. We will ask you some simple questions so we can get to know you better, and so we can let you know about studies that you will most likely fit. We will never sell your information and your contact information will only be shared with clients when necessary for the purpose of the study and only after your express consent.
Survey Emails – Now that you are in our database, whenever we have a study looking for people like you, you will receive an email link to that study’s online survey. Please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your safe senders list so you receive our communications. You can also check out our Facebook page, as many of our studies are posted there.
Qualifying – Follow the survey link and you will be asked some questions directly related to a specific study. It is important to remember that our clients provide INGATHER with these questions depending on the people they are looking for – some studies are very general and others are very specific. If you do qualify the screen will show you a message letting you know to expect a call from us. If you do not qualify for a study, we do our best to let you know as early in the survey as possible.
Scheduling – Once we have collected a reasonable amount of qualified individuals, our recruiters begin calling people to schedule them for the study. During this call, you will learn the exact date, time, and location of the study to ensure that it works for your schedule. Occasionally, our clients need a little more information, so you may be asked very brief questions over the phone to make sure you are the right fit.
Confirmation Email – Within a few days of being scheduled, you will receive a Confirmation Email from the study’s project manager. This email will provide you with the date, time, and location of the study, as well as any other specifics such as things to bring with you to the discussion. Please respond to this email as soon as your schedule allows, so that we know you received it and understood the information.
Confirmation Call – Just as a final check, you will receive one last call from one of our recruiters the day prior to the study. This is also a great time to ask any final questions you may have. If we are unable to reach you, we will leave a brief voicemail, but it is appreciated if you give us a call back just so we know you have the information.
Note: If You Need To Cancel – We completely understand that unforeseen issues may arise that prevent your participation. We are reserving a seat for you so please call us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend; that way we can try to find someone to take your place. We have a commitment to meet with our clients and having full groups of participants is critical to our success.
What You Can Expect from InGather
At INGATHER Research & Sensory, our participants are the core of our business and we take seriously our responsibility to treat you and your time with respect. You can expect our staff to treat you professionally and respectfully in all of your contact with us whether on the phone, via email or in person. We will communicate with you clearly, concisely and honestly in any situation. We will respond to your questions, comments, or concerns in a timely manner.
When you are scheduled for a group, we will do everything in our power to keep you in that group. On rare occasions our clients’ needs or schedules change, and while these instances are out of our control, we always do our best to limit the amount of impact these changes make to our participants. In the event of a change in the group, we will make every effort reach you as soon as possible in order to respect your valuable time.
Once again, our respondents are our most valuable resource; we will always respect you as a person, respect your time, and fairly compensate you for your participation with us.
What We Expect From Our Respondents
While we take our responsibility to our respondents seriously, we do have a few expectations of those who wish to participate in studies at INGATHER.
We expect honesty in your responses to our online surveys, when on the phone, and during your participation in our studies. Our clients use the information gathered in these studies to make very important decisions for their business; they are glad to hear both positive and negative feedback, so please, be honest.
When scheduled for a study, we do expect your full participation in any pre-study activities (which you will be made aware of ahead of time), on-time arrival to the study, and participation in the group. Of course, we understand that unforeseen events may arise that prevent you from participating, but we do ask that you let us know as soon as possible so that we may attempt to find a replacement for you.
Finally, we expect you to respect our staff, facility, clients and the other study participants. We work very diligently to prevent mistakes and mix-ups regarding your participation and time at our facility, unfortunately, we are still human and mistakes are made. In these events, we will take every action to remedy the situation in a fair manner, and your patience and respect is expected.
